Schlomo Rabinowitz on Trend watch: Nazis

I'm partial to Sir Ian McKellen in Apt Pupil.

allaboutgeorge on Best Films of 2008

I saw "Wall-E" and "Rachel Getting Married." I think I've seen "Slumdog Millionaire" four times. I'm not sure either "Waltz With Bashir" or "Happy-Go-Lucky" are out near me, though I've seen trailers for "Waltz" for weeks now.

My top 10 (out of the 40 or so movies I've paid to see this year): "Slumdog," "Milk," "WALL*E," "The Dark Knight," "The Last Mistress," "Hamlet 2," "Ghost Town," "Elegy," "Young At Heart" and "Rachel Getting Married"

Rachel on Best Films of 2008

Oh dear. I have missed all of them. I really would like to see Rachel Getting Married, since it has my name in the title. I do not want to see Wall-E. Hope to see Slumdog Millionaire, since I like Bollywood movies, I will probably like it. Such reasoning!

Schlomo Rabinowitz on Best Films of 2008

I agree with you Lauren. If I saw Sex and the City, I would probably skip movies altogether for the rest of the year.

Lauren Permenter on Best Films of 2008

I'm ashamed to say I still haven't seen much of what's on these lists, but I did see Sex and the City and I'm fairly certain that that more than makes up for the ONE HUNDRED movies I was supposed to see this year.

Ben Brown on Adventures in casting

I never thought I would be happy with Gambit's casting, but Lil Timmy Riggins!?! Awesome.

Jonathan Grubb on Let’s stay in for a movie: Netflix on demand

this may convince me to subscribe to Netflix after letting my subscription lapse 5 years ago. Though I wonder if the same movies will be free on Hulu...

patrick on Quantum of Podcast

Quantum of Solace is entertaining at least... a fantastic job with the styling and picture quality, but the movie as a whole could stand to lose six or seven fewer chase scenes

Robert Chan on Ben and Katie on /Film’s After Dark Podcast

Good job on the podcast guys :)

Richard Felix on Let’s stay in for a movie: Netflix on demand

Awesome! Looks great, Ben.
